Pedro - Doggy Whisperer

Former British Military Captain and Management Consultant Pedro used to train K9 pups and has always been an outdoor adventurer channeling Golden Retriever energy! Opening Little Doggy Daycare with wife Isabella was the dream...

"We wanted to create a place where dogs feel safe, accepted, and included, even those that are too scared or anxious to attend regular daycares — being part of a pack is in their DNA so that’s exactly what we’ve built.

If I were a dog, it would have to be a Golden. Big personality, big heart, boundless enthusiasm with unapologetically shaggy hair" 🐶✨

Isabella - Founder

C suite Marketing professional, Isabella started this passion project to carve out a wellness focused space for small dogs that didn't currently exist - "Dogs are just angels sent to us! They deserve to have safe loving spaces for their wellbeing to be looked after just like ours! 

A place that finally champions mindset and not just daycare...seeing little dogs initially arrive anxious, (often alongside equally anxious parents!), and watch their confidence grow to race around freely, socialising and unburdened by the stress of separation anxiety is honestly the most rewarding thing I've ever done!"

Sophie - Site Manager

Sophie joins Little Doggy Daycare with over three years of hands-on experience at The Wag Club in London, where she progressed from Dog Handler to Branch Manager.

During her time there, Sophie managed the day-to-day running of a busy dog daycare, led and developed the team, and introduced enrichment activities designed to create a happy, stimulating and well-balanced environment for dogs.

Sophie also holds a 2:1 Master’s degree in Ancient History from the University of Edinburgh and is currently furthering her knowledge and passion through studies in canine behaviour.

Sophie brings a thoughtful, caring and enthusiastic approach to everything she does.​

Daisy - Doggy Senior & Social Media

With nearly three years of daycare specific experience,  surrounded by wagging tails, muddy paws, and plenty of personality, Daisy also holds a Level 2 qualification in Animal Care and Welfare.

"I love working with dogs because it lets me see their intelligence, resilience, and amazing ability to trust. Helping build that trust and watching their confidence grow every day is incredibly rewarding — plus, I’ll never say no to cuddles and kisses.

If I were a dog breed, I’d definitely be a spaniel: full of energy, endlessly loving, and always ready for the next adventure" 🐾

Alexandra - Doggy Senior

Alexandra joins Little Doggy Daycare with a genuine love of dogs and a passion for making sure every dog feels safe, happy and cared for.

She holds a 2:1 Honours degree in Textiles: Innovation and Design from Loughborough University and brings a creative background, alongside strong organisational and customer service skills developed through her previous work in interior design.

With a particular interest in dog welfare, Alexandra is excited to combine her creativity and caring nature to help make every day at LDD a fun and positive experience for our dogs!

Laura - Doggy Junior

Laura has Level 3 Animal Management and approximately 3 years of experience of caring for dogs at Stock Dogs and LDDC.

"I love dogs because of the love and happiness they bring into people’s lives and the meaningful difference they can make every day. Their loyalty, affection, and constant desire for connection make them truly special companions.

If I were a dog breed, I’d be a Labrador — loyal, trusting, fun-loving, and equally happy playing all day or curling up for a well-earned nap" 🐶💛

Ellie - Doggy Junior

Ellie holds a Level 2 qualification in Animal Management and Behaviour from Writtle College. She's worked with dogs since 2024, starting in canine hydrotherapy before joining LDDC.

When she was 8, she even taught her deaf French Bulldog sign language!

"If I were a breed, I think I'd be a German Shepherd — protective, affectionate, and always ready for fun! My mum said I should be a Chihuahua because they're pocket sized! haha" 

Rhian - Doggy Junior

Rhian studied Level 2 in Animal Care at Writtle college. She has worked with dogs for 2 years, first of all at Baskervilles in Ingatestone and now at LDDC. Rhian's biggest passion is dogs, they follow her everywhere she goes!

When asked what kind of dog she'd be -

"I would be a Bulldog - super chilled personality!"

Annabell - Doggy Junior

Annabell is a lifelong animal lover with a wealth of hands-on experience, from caring for horses to life at home with her very own pack of six dogs! She also holds an advanced qualification in photography and loves putting her creative eye to good use, capturing all those gorgeous, funny and heart-warming moments that show off each dog’s unique personality. With her natural way with animals, Annabel brings plenty of warmth, enthusiasm and fun to the team, making sure every pup feels happy, cared for and right at home.

Bessie - Doggy Junior

Bessie is a passionate dog lover with over four years of experience caring for our four-legged friends, as well as a Level 3 qualification in Animal Management. Her naturally gentle, patient and caring nature perfectly embodies our wellness approach, ensuring every dog feels safe, understood and completely at ease. She loves getting to know each pup’s unique personality and building a special bond with them — whether that means plenty of cuddles and playtime or simply offering a little extra reassurance when they need it!

Alana - Doggy Junior

Allana is one of the most hardworking, passionate confident members of our team! Growing up with animals has meant this was always a dream job!
